As a fine art photographer, I explore the hidden layers of our surroundings, capturing textures and abandon spaces that prove the past still lives with us. My work investigates a profound contemporary paradox: a world of overwhelming abundance that is simultaneously filled with spaces that feel deeply neglected and empty. Through my lens, weathered surfaces peeling paint, eroded facades, light become visceral monuments to human struggle and resilience.
I photograph exclusively in solid, vibrant colors to amplify the raw emotions embedded in these artifacts. Color allows me to convey the psychological weight of being stranded within a vast landscape, transforming stark light and deep shadows into a powerful visual rhythm. Influenced by the cadence of music, my compositions treat abstract textures like musical chords layering tone, grit, and melody to create a sensory experience. These images capture the feeling of being wide awake in a silent world, tuned into the quiet frequencies of history.
